JasonMartin and DJ Quik invite Jay Worthy and Larry June for their latest single, “Gurbs & Youngs”.
Premiered alongside its music video, the New High Filmz-clip finds the tandem catching vibes at a plush pad in LA as Worthy, June, and Quik bring their braggadocious raps.
Jay Worthy cuts right to the chase with his opening verse. “I didn’t mean shit, just had to floss on ’em / Red paint looking like I put red gloss on it,” raps Worthy while Good Job Larry brings the flex.
“I’m in Osaka eating hibachi / Waking up bright and early doing Pilates / You niggas too focused on this rap shit / I’m stretching bank accounts still doing backflips, he raps before Quik ends it on a good note. “Question is how you stay people wanting it / Give ’em that, make it the best of the best, that they gon’ get.”
“Gurbs & Youngs” is the fourth single off DJ Quik and JasonMartin’s Chupacabra album due June 7. It features the previously released “Two Hi (Waves)” featuring Channel Tres, Free Nationals and George Clinton, “Eazy Call” with The Game and Big Hit, and “Workout” with Lil Jon and Rodney O.
