Tha Dogg Pound stays true to their hue with their “Favorite Color Blue”, the rap duo’s latest single featuring Stressmatic.
In the Dah Dah-directed clip, Kurupt and Daz rep their color to the fullest while kicking back with a couple of females and indulging in Snoop’s Gin & Juice drink with Tha Doggfather himself.
Kurupt raps, “Don’t make me snap, when I was a young chap / I told niggas like this, “Cripping’s where it’s at” / ‘Cause that’s where I’m at, and that’s what I did / And that’s how I live, ask my relatives,” before Daz adds, “My Death Row jacket, blue suede / Blue stripes, clear blue night / You know we cripping heavy, nigga, all through the night / B is for blue, L, for life / My nigga, we unified, everybody with it.”
“Favorite Color Blue” is the latest offering off Tha Doggpound’s upcoming album, W.A.W.G. (We All We Got), now dropping May 31. It features Tha Snoop Dogg-featured “Smoke Up” and the title-track, “We All We Got” featuring Tha Eastsidaz and Snoop Dogg.
