Arrest Reported In Tupac’s Murder

Las Vegas police has reportedly arrested a man in connection of the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur.

The L.A. Times reports that that Duane “Keffe D” Davis was taken into custody in an area near Las Vegas Friday morning (Sep. 29). The exact charges will be revealed in the expected indictment later Friday.

On July 17, a residence owned by Davis in nearby Henderson was raided by Las Vegas police where they collected clues related to the unsolved murder including multiple computers, a cellphone, a hard drive, a Vibe magazine that featured Shakur, several .40-caliber bullets, and more.

Since Tupac’s murder 27 years-ago, Davis has confessed multiple times of being inside the vehicle with the shooter that fatally killed the 25-year-old rapper. Davis has also implicated that his nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson was also in the car. Anderson, who was killed days later, has been speculated as the shooter in retaliation of his brawl with ‘Pac the same night.
