It’s all fucked up now.
Two properties belonging to hip hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs were raided by Homeland Security Investigations on Monday afternoon (Mar. 25).
ABC LA reports the seize took place at Diddy’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles were part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation by federal authorities in New York. Diddy was not present at either properties at the time of the raids.
Footage camera showed several dozen agents including local law enforcement on the grounds of Diddy’s L.A. home on the 200 block of S. Mapleton Drive in Holmby Hills. Two identified men were seen being detained outside during the search. They were both later identified as Diddy’s two sons.
“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available,” the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement released to the media.
Just hours after the search, TMZ posted footage of Diddy spotted at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport boarding a private jet shortly before he was stopped by federal agents. Diddy was not arrested.
The raid comes on the heels of Diddy’s recent sexual assault lawsuits that were filed within the past few months. Last November, the 54-year-old settled a case with former protege and girlfriend Cassie, who sued him for years of alleged sexual abuse.
