Hip Hop Manager Hovain Passes Away

R.I.P. Hovain.

Well-known and respected music mogul Jonathan “Hovain” Hylton passed away unexpectedly at the age of 34.

The heartbreaking news was revealed on his social media accounts on Friday (Nov. 25) that Hylton passed away peacefully at his home.

“It is with deep regret that we message to all family, friends and colleagues that Jonathan ‘Hovain’ Hylton passed away while at his home on Friday, November 25,” read the message. “He was a beloved and devoted father, husband, son, brother and a proud Brooklyn representative. We’d like to thank all of his close friends for all of the love and support that you have shown during this difficult time. We ask that you all continue to keep his family in your prayers and respect their privacy at this time.”

The Brooklyn launched his Hovain Hylton Management, where managed music artists, brand deals and marketing strategies. Over a decade of experience in the music industry, Hovain helped some of the biggest names in hip hop managing Troy Ave, Busta Rhymes, Lloyd Banks, The Lox, Dave East, Wale, Young Guru, Rob Markman, and many more.
