Eric Holder Jr., the man accused of fatally shooting Nipsey Hussle, was convicted of first-degree murder on Wednesday (Jul. 6).
The LA Times reports after six hours of deliberation, a jury also found Holder, 32, guilty of attempted voluntary manslaughter for the shooting of two bystanders as well as two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon. Last week, the trial was delayed for a day after Holder was brutally attacked by inmates in a holding cell. His injuries required three staples in the back of his head.
On March 31, 2019, Eric Holder Jr. fatally shot Nipsey Hussle outside The Marathon Clothing store in South Central, L.A. Nipsey was 33. Holder will be sentenced at a later date and is facing life in prison.
