A suspect connected to the murder of Takeoff has been arrested.
TMZ reports that 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark was taken into custody on Thursday evening (Dec. 1) in Houston and charged with the fatal shooting of the Migos rapper.
Prosecutors said that Clark applied for an expedited passport a day after the murder and submitted itinerary for a flight to Mexico. During his arrest, Clark had his passport and a large sum of cash. He was booked at a bail of $1,000,000.
A second man, Cameron Joshua, 22, was arrested Nov. 22 on a charge of felony possession of a weapon.
Takeoff was fatally shot following a dispute outside private party at 810 Billiards & Bowling in downtown Houston on November 1. Police say Takeoff was not part of the dispute and was struck by stray bullets in the head, torso, and arm after two weapons were fired during the melee. Takeoff was 28.
