Takeoff Shot & Killed In Houston

R.I.P. Takeoff.

Takeoff, one-third of the rap group Migos was fatally shot in Houston. He was 28.

TMZ reports the incident happened early Tuesday morning (Nov. 1) at the bowling alley 810 Billiards & Bowling in downtown Houston.

Houston police reports Takeoff and Quavo were playing dice on the third floor of the alley, when an altercation broke out and someone opened fire. Five shots were fired and Takeoff was struck in or near the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Two other individuals were shot and transported to the hospital. Quavo was unharmed.

Born Kirsnik Khari Ball, Takeoff was the youngest member of the multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated rap group, Migos, who released the Culture III last year before their recent break up. In 2018, the Atlanta rapper released his solo album, The Last Rocket. This year, Takeoff and Quavo released their collaborative album, Only Built For Infinity Links and appeared on the Rap Radar Podcast.
