Buddy’s catching the vibes in the video to his most recent single, “Like This”.
Over Kaelin Elis laid back and knocking instrumentation, the Compton native raps his typical day out West from a series of whimsical backdrops, out of a pick up truck and in front of L.A.’s famous Randy’s Donuts.
“Kick back by the pool / Cut the news off / I put that on my mamma / I got style,” he raps. “Pray I don’t get shot down / Po po want me lock down / They watching us / More money, more problems / I figured it out.”
Released earlier this month, “Like This” is the follow-up to last year’s “You 2 Thank” and “Free My Mind“.
