Bun B and Z-Ro take a stroll through the ghettos in their new video, “The Geto”.
Directed by Orbit Didit Films, the two Texans walk through their old stomping grounds in Houston’s Garden City Apartments while poverty images help bring their lyrics to life.
Z-Ro warn the visitors of the violence, more particular the cops. “Watch yourself around here, they’ll kill ya, bro! / Biggest gang ’round here is the HPD,” raps the Mo City Don, while Bun B narrates the harsh realties of a fatherless child. “And young girls gettin’ pregnant by grown-ass men / ‘Cause they daddies locked up, doing time in the pen,” raps the Trill O.G.
“The Geto” is off Bun B and producer Cory Mo’s Mo Trill album, which features a slew of guests including 2 Chainz, Wale, Cee-Lo Green, Benny The Butcher, Slim Thug, Lil Keke, Big K.R.I.T., Trae Tha Truth, Z-Ro, Larry June, Devin The Dude, and more.
