Common and Pete Rock get it cracking in the studio in their new video, “All Kinds Of Ideas”.
In the gritty clip, the pair bring out the pens and pads and turn up the headphones as they perform they trade a bevy of bars.
“Past, present and future; that is timeless / Been a lot a things, but I never been rhymeless / Drums like scattered showers when I rain, man / Giving you food for soul, that’s the game plan,” raps Pete Rock, while Common follows his lead.
“Rack focus to the black Moses that’s light skinned / A dawn like when the night end, I’m multi-hyphened My stipend is ripened from Chi’ to Big Apple / On the mic, I’m Micah Parsons any subject I tackle,”
“All Kinds Of Ideas” is the third single their The Auditorium Vol. 1, due July 12. It follows their previous “Dreamin” and “Wise Up”.
