EastMix, baby.
Dave East slides in the mix with his freestyle over Lil Wayne’s “Slip”, a track off Tunechi’s latest mixtape, Tha Fix Before Tha VI.
In the filtered clip, the Harlem rapper hits the streets of New York with his entourage while tacking a new verse on the knocking instrumental produced by Kamo, Self B Tru, and TheNightAftr.
“I’m from the label, I’m the one to promote / When things need a fix I come with bundles of dope,” East raps in front of a Maybach with a drink and blunt in hand. “I think the clearest way to see you is a gun with a scope / Friendships is like the seasons how they come and they go.”
“Slip” is the latest EastMix from Dave following his “Steph & Klay” with Cruch Calhoun. Last summer, he released his second studio album, Fortune Favors The Bold featuring Cordae, Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign, Coi Leray, Kid Capri, and Stacey Barthe.
