Eminem is back. And for his latest trick, he pulls out his brand new single, “Houdini”, the first offering off the Detroit rapper’s upcoming album, The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).
Directed by Rich Lee, the comic and action hero-style video finds Em recreating various scenes from his past music videos while giving his unapologetic and playful take on today’s culture.
He playfully raps, “Okay, that’s it / Go ahead, Paul, quit, snake-ass prick / You male cross-dresser, fake-ass bitch / Fuck them, fuck Dre, fuck Jimmy, fuck me, fuck you / Fuck my own kids, they’re brats,” as he cruises the streets with Dr. Dre himself.
Elsewhere, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Pete Davidson and others make cameos while bringing more shots. “If I was to ask for Megan Thee Stallion if she would collab with me / Would I really have a shot at a feat.”
The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) will be Eminem’s twelfth studio album and the follow-up to 2020’s Music To Be Murdered By. Earlier this year, Em appeared on “Doomsday 2” off Lyrical Lemonade’s All Is Yellow album.
