Future and Metro Boomin connect with The Weekend in their “Young Metro” music video.
Directed by Hidji World and Omar Jones, the trippy clip spots the trio at lush property performing the track in the presence of their entourage and a couple of eye-candies.
“Took the show on the road getting bands on bands / On the high, on the low, I’m the man, I’m the man,” raps Future. “Striking off, striking off, Porsche Cayenne / Live it up, ran it up, got it expand,” he continues as a masked XO lays down his infectious adlibs and hook. “I been drowning / I been trying / I been low / All alone.”
“Young Metro” is one of the stand outs off Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You album with other appearances by Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Travis Scott, and Playboi Carti. The follow-up We Still Don’t Trust You is set to arrive April 12.
