Video: Gunna “Bittersweet”

Living through the seasons.

Gunna returns with his first single of the year, “Bittersweet”, which is accompanied by its music video directed by Spike Jordan.

Over Dystinkt Beats and 1SRAEL’s guitar-laced production, the Atlanta rapper opens up on the highs and lows of life, his critics, and former associates.

The video centers Gunna on a wintry mountain with his fellow trainees and wolves and raps, “Shit been rough, but I ain’t too tough to say I love and I miss you / You my dog, I don’t care if we fall out nigga, I never could diss you.” He continues, “For the chains and the fame, only we seen the vision / ‘Bout my name, let it bang, goin’ out with my pistol.”

“Bittersweet” marks Gunna’s first solo release since last summer’s album, a Gift & a Curse. Towards the end of the year, he appeared on the track “Bachelor” with Turbo and dropped the unreleased “Woke Up“.
