On the dance-heavy bop, the EGOT winner sings the delightful qualities of his partner, while the Dreamville rapper laces the track with a racy verse.
Directed by Christian Breslauer, the accompanying music video takes place at a retro house party, where Legend and JID perform and party with friends.
“Dope” follows John Legend’s previous single, “Tomorrow” featuring Nas and producer Florian Picasso.
