Can’t hold back.
After announcing his new album Ultra 85, Logic gets things rolling with its first single, “Fear”, which premiers alongside its music video.
Co-produced by himself with 6ix and Conor Albert, the Maryland lyricist takes on criticism with a fearless flow. The video is directed by Andy Hines and centers a typical day of a drag queen and make-up artist, Tajh Jordan.
“Give a damn if I gotta live up to every single one of your expectations / I remember the moment of my life,” he raps. “The moment of eyesight, all up in the spotlight, uh / Uh, people think we gotta be the perception, what you need is an intervention / Everything that you doin’ better be with intention / I hope every single one of you paying attention.”
Ultra 85 is Logic’s ninth studio album and is the follow up to last year’s College Park. It is also his first project since his 3P EP with C Dot Castro and Inglorious Basterd mixtape also both released last year.
