In the midst of his feud with Drake, Rick Ross gives his recent “Champagne Moments” its visual treatment.
Directed by Shula The Don, the Miami rapper delivers endless shots towards Drizzy from ghostwriting claims to jacking flows while seated alongside his old school Chevy convertible and promoting his upcoming third annual Car & Bike show on June 1.
“Like his moves, but he never had to fight in school / Always ran, another nigga had to write your grooves,” he raps as he lights up for the camera. “Flow is copy-and-paste, Weezy gave you the juice / Another white boy at the park wanna hang with the crew,” he continues over the Mini Boom-produced instrumental.
“Champagne Moments” is in response to Drake’s “Push Ups“, a diss record targeting Kendrick Lamar as well Rick Ross, The Weeknd, Future, and Metro Boomin. “I might take your latest girl and cuff her like I’m Ricky / Can’t believe he jumping in, this nigga turning fifty / Every song that made it on the chart, he got from Drizzy,” rapped Drake.
