It is still DPG for life in Tha Dogg Pound’s new video, “Smoke Up” featuring Snoop Dogg.
Beginning with a group of celebs face timing to big up the crew and questioning the group’s break up, the Dah Dah-directed clip centers the West Coast trio reunited and trading bars over Rick Rock’s hard-hitting production.
“One-two-three o’clock / Four o’clock, rock Tududu / Pass past the spot where the homie serve rocks,” raps Kurupt on the opening verse.
Daz Dillinger adds, “See, everything they talking about be fabricated / We do this shit for life, motherfucker, so don’t hate it,” while Uncle Snoop lights up to the hook. “Somebody said the Dogg Pound broke up / Shut yo bitch ass up, nigga, now smoke up Tududu.”
“Smoke Up” is the first single off Tha Dogg Pound’s upcoming album, W.A.W.G. (We All We Got) due this June.
