JAY-Z’s verse on “God Did” has gotten much praised by hip hop purists and fans, and it has most recently made a headline on MSNBC’s The Beat with Ari Melber.
The 12-minute story discussed the correlation from the topics Hov mentioned on the song and the country’s ongoing issue with the war on drugs, police and government corruption, drug legalization, and more.

He was also a guest speaker on a Twitter Space chat hosted by DJ Khaled, Lenny S., and Rob Markman where the rapper discussed the creating process and reception of his verse. The song is off DJ Khaled’s latest album, God Did.
